At Coupe Green our aim is to provide the children with an art curriculum that will lead to outstanding progress across all key stages relative to a child’s individual starting point and skill set. Our art lessons are a hive of activity where children experiment with line, shape, colour, texture, form, pattern and composition as well as use different materials and processes. Art and design lessons will provide the children with opportunities to develop and extend skills and give opportunities to express their individual interests, thoughts and ideas.
A high-quality art and design education should engage, inspire and challenge pupils, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design. Our art curriculum will develop children’s critical abilities, as well as an understanding of their own and others’ cultural heritages through the study of a diverse range of artists.
